Friday night activities

We would love to see you at Parts & Labor pub at Motorco on Friday night, probably after 8pm.

For casual dinner, try Nana Taco or The Pit BBQ. Fancier options are Dashi, Pizzeria Toro, or Mateo. There are a number of excellent lunch spots in downtown Durham, including the places above, Guglhupf, Toast, Old Havana Sandwich Shop, and Parker and Otis.

We recommend Cocoa Cinnamon, Joe Van Gogh, and Counter Culture for coffee. For a sweet treat, there's Scratch Bakery and Rose's Meat Market and Sweet Shop. Saturday morning there is also a great Farmer's Market just down from the hotel on Foster's Street, which serves coffee, pastries, and delicious pita sandwiches.

The Al Buehler trail is very close by and offers lovely scenery for walks and runs. The Eno River State and City Parks are only a 6 mile drive away. Consider exploring the grounds of Duke's campus and the Duke Chapel.

Duke Gardens are vast and free (there is a charge for parking but at the wedding, parking will be free). Explore the Gardens on Saturday morning or before the wedding. There's so much more to see than the little spot where our ceremony is.

On Saturday Durham will be hosting the 32nd annual NC PRIDE festival featuring a parade at 1pm.

Thank you for coming! You are welcome to view or download any of the photography.
